Hypebeast recently uploaded a great video detailing the sunglasses and eyewear from the Shwood 2011 Fall/Winter Collection. Born from the limb of a Mandrone tree, a rusty pair of cabinet hinges, and lenses from the corner store, Shwood has been a curious endeavor from the beginning, and has grown into a burgeoning company, known for their eyewear which feature wooden frames. In the video, Taylor, Shwood's brand manager and co-owner, talks about the process of literally laser cutting a niche in the super competitive sunglasses and accessories game.
